About MCA Senior Adult Day Center
Founded in 2023, MCA Senior Adult Day Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making every day meaningful for seniors and their families in the Kankakee community. Our founder, Alicia Kleinert, recognized a growing need: caregivers often face overwhelming challenges when supporting loved ones who are aging or living with chronic illnesses. With healthcare, assisted living, and skilled nursing costs rising rapidly, families deserve more affordable, flexible options to ensure their loved ones remain safe, engaged, and well cared for.
MCA Senior Adult Day Center was created to meet this need — offering a welcoming, supportive environment where seniors can thrive during the day and caregivers can find peace of mind.
Alicia brings over 15 years of healthcare experience to MCA, having served in home health, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals throughout the Kankakee and Chicago areas. Her passion for serving seniors, combined with deep professional expertise, drives the center’s commitment to compassionate care, dignity, and community connection.
At MCA, we believe that every senior deserves a vibrant life, and every caregiver deserves support.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services that include day activities, transportation, meal preparation, and medication management and medical services. Our team of skilled professionals is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to our members. We are also partnered with local non-profit organizations in order to maximize community support and impact to provide the best care for seniors.
Our Approach
At MCA Senior Adult Day Center, we believe in taking a holistic approach to senior care services by providing an array of services in one place. We understand that each member of our center has unique needs, and we will work closely with them and their families to develop a customized care plan that address their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We will offer half and full days along with a minimum of a 2 day per week membership.
